About this site

I previously published on Substack but that platforms issues made it difficult for me to try and promote my writing with the sink of their domain attached to it. Thankfully importing my previous posts and email subscribers was very easy to do here and so here I will be for the current moment.

Here I will be publishing mainly videogame criticism whether about individual games or the culture surrounding them, mainly games media. Occasionally I will dip into film though a majority of that will be through my podcast with Ben Verschoor (whose film newsletter Cinema Purgatorio you can subscribe to here) called Mise en Screen.
